Overview
Acme Packet 4500 operates Acme Packet OS to support a full range of product
configurations and configuration options. Network interface units (NIUs) for Acme
Packet 4500 accelerate compute-intensive tasks, such as encryption and transcoding.
This delivers high-touch functionality at performance and capacity levels not typically
achievable on general purpose platforms. Acme Packet 4500 also features carrier-class
high availability (HA) and Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS) certification to
ensure nonstop operation and survivability in the most business-critical services and
applications.
System Capacity, Performance, and Availability
Acme Packet 4500 delivers leading session performance, capacity, and HA in a 1U form
factor.
